The living room wall behind the cream sofa features black oak veneer panels arranged in approximately 200 mm-wide sections, with recessed vertical joints separating the panels. The same dark oak finish continues into the adjoining open-plan study, where natural wood open shelving provides a contrasting finish.
The recessed joints are formed by routing the panel edges and fitting connecting wood strips between adjacent sections. This joining method requires consistent panel dimensions and accurately positioned grooves to maintain alignment across the assembled wall. Precision panel cutting and CNC machining are used to process the panel sections and joint details according to the production drawings.
The adjoining study cabinetry is manufactured as a separate set of components, combining the black oak finish with natural wood open shelving. Panel dimensions, edge finishing and cabinet connections are processed according to the requirements of each component, with the finish specifications coordinated across the wall panels and cabinetry.
