This kitchen combines fine-grain wood-finish base and tall cabinets with contrasting white upper cabinets. The wood surfaces use a restrained linear grain, while black recessed handles provide a simple detail across the cabinet fronts. A 20 mm white quartz countertop completes the main cabinet run.
The tall cabinet section integrates an oven and dishwasher, requiring the appliance openings and surrounding cabinet divisions to be defined together rather than added after the cabinet layout is established. At the base, an open bay is designed specifically for a movable trolley, providing storage for items such as onions and garlic while allowing the trolley to be moved out when needed.
These details affect the way the cabinet components are manufactured. Precision panel cutting is used to produce the required cabinet dimensions, while CNC machining and six-sided drilling are used for cabinet processing, connection points and hardware positions. Precision edge banding finishes the applicable panel edges according to the selected cabinet construction and finish.
The combination of wood-look and white panels also requires control of panel specifications and wood-grain direction during production. Where adjacent cabinet fronts and panels use the same wood finish, grain direction and panel sequence need to follow the approved production drawings to maintain a consistent appearance across the cabinet run.
Rather than treating the appliance section, trolley bay and cabinet finishes as separate details, this project brings them together in one production package. The cabinet layout is translated into processed panels, machined components and finished cabinet sections ready for assembly.
